COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

This pandemic is affecting all of us. The health and wellness of our guests and our staff is our primary focus and responsibility. We have spent considerable time evaluating the best options for both groups. We decided proactively to close the Hotel on March 29th. The Mexican government subsequently issued an order for all non-essential businesses in Mexico to close from April 1st to April 30th. Our town of Sayulita has restricted non-residents from entering for the month of April. This is one step toward reducing the spread of this deadly virus. The number of confirmed cases in Mexico appears low and we hope that it has been “caught” before serious infections take hold.

During this time, we have developed an enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocol for the hotel.

We are planning for the worst and hoping for the best.

We continually communicate with local health authorities and monitor directives pertaining to Mexico and around the world from various world authorities such as the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
